Reporting a repair

General repairs
20/20 members can report repairs during working hours, please call 0121 667 1123 (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm) to BVT, who we pay to manage our repairs. You can report repairs to them in person, by telephone, or by letter.

A voicemail facility is available, so if your call is not answered, please leave a message and BVT will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have an emergency during office hours, the voicemail message will give an emergency number for you to call.

Emergency repairs
If you have an emergency outside of working hours, please also contact 0121 667 1123.  This number will divert to BVT’s out of hours provider.

If you smell gas, turn off the gas at the mains supply and telephone Cadent on 0800 111999 immediately and inform BVT as soon as possible afterwards.

If you have an electricity or water emergency, please turn off your electricity or water service.

When a contractor is called out on an emergency, they charge 20/20 more for the repair.  So if you call someone out for an emergency repair and it isn’t an emergency, you will be charged for it.   Emergency, urgent and routine repairs are defined here.
